Violaine Hayoz-Wantz; artiste

Particulièrement sensible à mon environnement, je m’inspire des différentes dynamiques existantes entre l’homme, l’animal et la nature. La richesse des échanges relationnels présents dans ce triangle m'inspire des oeuvres oscillant entre poésie et violence, sensibilité et absurdité.

L'envol délicat d'un millier de graines, les reflets de l'eau contre les parois d'une grotte, la tendresse éternelle de la pâte à modeler ou encore les outils fétiches du chasseur servent de matière à mes oeuvres.

Ma pratique artistique s'inscrit dans une démarche transdisciplinaire qui me permet de faire appel à de nombreux moyens d'expression.

Since I’m particularly sensitive to my environment, I get inspired by different dynamics that exist between humans, animals and nature. The wealth of the relational exchanges present in this triangle inspires my artwork, oscillating between poetry and violence, sensitivity and absurdity.

The delicate flight of a thousand dandelion seeds, the reflections of water against the walls of a cave, the eternal tenderness of plasticine or even the hunter’s favorite tools serve as material for my works.

My artistic practice is part of a transdisciplinary approach that allows me to use many means of expression.

Vice-présidente de l'Atelier Tramway, je m'investis dans le programme artistique et événementiel du lieu. L'Atelier Tramway est un espace autogéré de création visuelle et d'exposition actif dans le milieu culturel fribourgeois. C'est là que se trouve mon atelier depuis 2016.

As vice-president of Atelier Tramway, I’m involved both in putting together the artistic program and the event program the Atelier has to offer. Atelier Tramway is a self-managed space for visual creation and exhibition in the cultural ecosystem of Fribourg. My studio has been located there since 2016.

J'enseigne les activités créatrices à l'Institut Saint-Joseph, section logopédie française.

J'aime proposer aux enfants différentes approches artistiques qui vont de l'exercice moteur à l'expression libre. Et ainsi éveiller leur créativité et leur sensibilité. 

 

I also teach creative activities at the ‘Institute Saint-Joseph’, in the French speech therapy section.

I enjoy teaching children different artistic approaches, from different motor exercises to free expression, thereby awakening their creativity and sensitivity.
